I manufacture a health muesli designed for sports and business people, mothers and kids, the health conscious, the weight conscious, diabetics. It's 4 everybody! And... without all the bad sugars and fats!.
It is a fully balanced meal and can be bought in several shops in Cape Town and surrounds, Knysna and Sedgefield, and soon in Gauteng. Please contact me to find out exactly where.

1. add water, milk or yoghurt.
2. Soak in water for a softer consistency.
3. Store in airtight container once opened.

ASSERTIVE EATING
Definition: to know what you put into your mouth every time you eat and to cut out unnecessary calories.
So what does this mean:
- It means that when you go for a nice cup of coffee and they bring it with a beautiful short bread biscuit on the saucer…don’t eat it because you haven’t ordered it and if it wasn’t there, you would not have missed it.
- It means not to eat the peppermint or sweet that they serve with your bill at the end of a meal (rather carry sugar free beechies with you if you want your breath to smell good)
- It means not to lick off the fingers of your baby when they have eaten a chocolate and it is all over their hands or eat the last bit of that chocolate that they have now dropped….wipe their hands and save yourself those excess calories
- It means to be assertive of how much mayo you mix into the potato salad or chicken/tuna mayo sandwich. In stead of just scooping two tablespoons, take say one tablespoon.( you shouldn’t really eat mayo at all unless you are CRAZY about it) (rather mix plain yoghurt with some lemon juice and mustard to cut out 80% of that fat)
- When you use feta cheese in your salad, in stead of cutting the whole one circle in many little squares, rather take half a circle and crumb it over the whole salad. You will taste enough feta, but consume half the amount
- If you drink say , 2 glasses of wine every night, still drink your 2 glasses, but pour one quarter less in the glass and save per week: 7x 2 quarters = 3 and a half glasses of wine a week =1400 calories per week = half a kilo on the scale
- If you like sweet potato with the sugar and butter, make yourself a plain sweet potato as well as one with sugar and butter as well as cook some sugar and butter in a pan. Then taste all three. You are loving the sugar and butter sweet potato because you like the taste of sugar and butter, so rather don’t spoil your sugar and butter with a sweet potato if that is what you want. Then rather just eat the sugar and butter :)
By saving all these little bits, it adds up to a whole lot over a year without dieting and you will be able to look at yourself in December and realize that you look better than the previous years’ December photos which is normally the other way around
